Mark Bovey
RESEARCH CO-ORDINATOR

Mark Bovey has a MSc in Animal Breeding with extensive subsequent research and development experience as a geneticist.
He trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in 1980 -1983 (LicAc) and 1985-1987 (BAc). He has been in private practice since 2003 and is on the faculty of another accredited acupuncture college, the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. He is an external examiner for the acupuncture degree course at the College of Traditional Acupuncture at Oxford Brookes University.
In 1998, he took over as co-ordinator of the Acupuncture Research Resource Centre (ARRC). He sits on the BAcC's Research Committee.
His research interests are particularly in developing projects that can be taken up by practitioners across a wide range of interests, skills and research experience.

Day Post
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Day Post has a BA in Anthropology from Connecticut College in the USA. He is a member of the BAcC PR & Marketing committee and has worked with ARRC since 2005.
For over four years Day lived in Asia. He studied Zen Keiraku Shiatsu at the Iokai Shiatsu Centre, in Tokyo, Japan and spent a year at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in China. He then graduated from The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading. He is in his eighth year of private practice in London.
Day has done post-graduate study in the fields of infertility, gynaecological disorders, depression, musculo-skeletal injuries and Japanese acupuncture.
